To request an absentee ballot for the July 14, 2020 Primary
- Contact your town/city clerk

- Go to Maine Secretary of State Website https://www.maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/AbsenteeBallot/index.pl
- Once you receive your absentee ballot envelop, look through it, complete all ballots, and sign and stamp and return envelop by deadline. (see video below for more info).
- You can register and vote on the same day in Maine (but it's much easier if you register ahead of time with your town/city clerk).
- Review candidates, issues, and procedures ahead of time at the League of Women Voters of Maine. https://www.lwvme.org/elections
- Make a voting plan: know the location of your polling place (some places have moved because of the virus), plan the time of day are you planning on voting, decide how you're getting to the polling location, and bring a friend.
- Vote safely by wearing a mask and following any and all polling guidelines
- Wear your "I Voted" sticker with pride.
